Susan Kranberg

Organizer (Manhattan)

Susan is an experienced community organizer, volunteer manager and program director. She created and managed an innovative volunteer program for baby boomers at the JCC Manhattan which reached underserved populations living near or in poverty and isolation. While there she led a successful voter registration campaign staffed by volunteers that went into homeless shelters, libraries, YMCAs, high schools, colleges and food pantries,  Most recently she managed the NYC2020 Census grant at JASA, a large non-profit serving older adults where her team and volunteers reached nearly 10,000 NYC residents. Susan, a budding memoirist, lives in Brooklyn amid a houseful of plants.
